Adaptive Armor: Battle Armor mode.

The Armor cybernetically gives Pohatu greater strength and keeps his agility at the same level, despite the bulkiness of his armor. Also, his mental focus and toughness have increased as he continues to fight against the forces of Makuta Teridax, aid his team, and gains experience.

note: His greater mental focus gives him greater control and strength in using his mask power

Current Statistics:

Strength: 17

Agility: 10

Toughness: 17

Mind: 13

(original 2008 Lego official stats: Strength: 13, Agility: 10, Toughness 14, Mind: 11)

I found this pic on shadow's blog. I took a screen shot of it and I am almost positive that that the bionicle is toa matoro from the back..... thoughts, comments, questions.....

He might come back to the Matoran Universe eventually

Note the vertical jets: the combination of the horizontal and vertical jets give Tahu greater speed and agility in the air...

the adaptive version of the lava board he had in his nuva 2002-2003:

just picture the red-glossed wood as lava. you can't see his spinning shield in this pic, but he is in mid lateral flip, vaulting off of the lava using his shield :)
